Camping in Sicily?
Camping in Sicily took a new turn when we practically invented our “Camping Tours”. Now into their sixth year, these Camping Tours have proved to be a huge success with visitors returning annually. The thinking behind the camping tours is to provide a blend of outdoor life, which is the “Camping Side” combined with touring various venues in Sicily to give a variety of fun and cultural activities.
If camping in Sicily is what you are considering, Pippa’s Paddock location is a major bonus. Very centrallly situated (slightly west of Sicily’s centre), it is ideal for tours to most of the beautiful and varied scenarios that Sicily offers. The ages of our visiting groups so far has been around 12-15 years old, but the accompanying adults have enjoyed the trips at least as much as their charges ! We have kept a strong accent on the ‘Fun’ element of the holidays. The cultural side has always been planned to ensure it is just as enjoyable as it is educational. In many cases there exist connections between the places we visit and Malta, and in all instances, we use plain and interesting narratives which keeps the younger audiences interested and asking questions.
Evening meals are in different locations (various restaurants in other towns etc…) with an end-of-tour grand party on the last night, held on our terrace overlooking the Gurfa Valley. These parties are a great success with live bands or karaokes adding considerably to the fun.
In this brochure we show and describe some of the many activities which make up a typical trip. Which activities are included, the duration and other details of the trips are agreed on with the group leaders – and groups can therefore have the tours practically ‘tailor-made’ to their preferences. Prices are all-inclusive – that is, once the group has landed in Sicily, there would be absolutely no other costs, except for buying presents etc… Prices are based on the arrangements made, and therefore interested parties would have to contact us at Pippa’s Paddock to discuss possible itineraries and arrange pricing for their camping in Sicily requirements.
