B&B Palermo – If a B&B in the centre of Palermo is what you are after, you simply can’t find a more central location than the Palike B&B. The place, which opened in 2008 by our dear friends AnnaMaria and Nicola, is Anna’s family home for over fifty years. Anna herself was born in the very house.
It is situated just 20 meters from the Piazza Politeama, arguably the most popular square in Palermo, where the major theatre is. Around this square all major cultural events revolve. Even the international world championship rally, the Targa Florio starts here and passes right underneath the B&B’s balconies. The city’s sightseeing buses depart outside the front door and the port is 5 minutes walk away. In the evening, one can stroll around the best of Palermo’s night spots and outdoor cafés and restaurants. Dining is a matter of choice and pocket with every type of eating place situated within just metres of the B&B.
Inside the Palike B&B has been newly redecorated but has kept its original style. The furnitue is antique mediterranean, a lot of it the family’s own for generations. It has four bedrooms and as many bathrooms, a reception area, a dining room as well as a lounge/reading room.
