An afternoon filled with Activities – Lakes, Castles and Horse Training centre with dinner in the Castle.

This is an activity packed afternoon indeed. After the usual ride in the mooring and lunch at Pippa’s Paddock, we set off to a medieval town. The town sits on a lake and has an impressive castle which once practically ruled Sicily. We can spend time at a basic but very private beach club (often we are the only people here). As well as swimming at the beach club, we can make use of pedaloes and canoes. Shower facilities are available. A look at the dam that holds the lake is an interesting addition.

A visit to the castle and its intriguing history can be arranged (included in price). Afterwards we can visit a horse training centre, where some of the most beautiful horses in Sicily may be seen. The horses are usually trained for shows and parades which are so popular in Sicily. With luck, there may be training proceeding whilst we visit.

Dinner is had at the castle restaurant. We also have the option of dropping in at one of the local very attractive bars for a few drinks before heading for home. (Drinks not included in price)
