DETAILS

ACCOMODATION – is in our lovely 150-year-old converted barns (see here), all with en-suite facilites.

RIDING – You will be riding our selection of well loved and trained horses. (The horses are wonderful, very well taken care of. You can feel how much they are loved. Tripadvisor). We ride every morning for aproximately 2 to 3 hours through our mountain tracks and fields. We can cater for all levels, especially so as we have a selection of horses suitable for all riders.

MEALS – Breakfast consists of toast with butter and jam, cereals, yoghurts, croissants, jam tarts, fruit juice, tea or coffee. The main meal is usually lunch, except if full-day excursions are done, in which case it shall be dinner. These home-cooked meals are taken with the family. They typically consist of antipasti (hors d’ouvres), one main dish of pasta plates or meat dishes, salads, deserts, wine, fruit, liqueurs, coffee. A second meal can also be eaten with the family (12 euros) or we can drop you off in town (Alia) for you to have a wander around and perhaps grab a snack from the selection of bars and restaurants available. We can also arrange restaurant meals and book them for you including driving you there and back….

AIRPORT PICK-UP – is included in the price. Return is excluded but can be supplied at an extra cost (see here). It is easy to use public transport to Palermo airport from the local train station. We can take you down to the station (free) and a train and bus take you to the airport. Time to get there is approximately the same as by car (1 hour 45 mins) and cost is around 11 euros per person.

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS – You can choose any of our excursions to enhance your stay and tailor it to your tastes and budgets. Below is a price list of the available excursions. In all instances, we still ride out in the morning and have lunch at the ranch. After lunch we set out on the “afternoon/evening” excursions which include an evening meal out.  The full day excursions include the riding. On these excursions we ride out to a particular destination, stop for lunch and a nice after-lunch rest and then ride back. Here is the list :
