In 2014 Pippa’s Paddock organised the first University riding holiday for the Portsmouth University Equestrian Club.   And the students that came had an absolutely great time… and they came back the following year… and the following and every year since!!  From one group in 2014, the numbers have increased to 4 uni’s and several groups coming in 2020….

I tried to include a lot in the package. My philosophy is that there is a lot to life worth enjoying so besides the horse riding, which is great on all the mountain tracks we have here, there are also many excursions, sightseeing, activities and evenings out…   All in a fantastic all-inclusive price !!   The two videoclips on this page say a lot about the holidays. The first one (above) was produced by the Portsmouth Uni students here in 2018 and the second (below) is a generic one showing what our typical holidays are like…

Normal selling price for these holidays is €1095 (1-week), so there is an over 45% discount here !! This price can only be offered if a minimum of 6 people form every group, so this is something we have to work on. Transport is provided by an 9-seater car so a maximum of 8 students can be catered for.

There is a choice of 2 packages – both offering fantastic value for money. The difference is not much. Mainly, the less expensive one excludes the visit to the capital, Palermo with its overnight stay, and replaces this with a terrace bbq at our ranch. There are other minor differences which are all detailed in the itnerary descriptions.

• Unless specifically mentioned in the itineraries, everything is included in the price. Hence horse riding, accomodation at Pippa’s Paddock, all meals (with beverages, wines etc.), travel, airport transfers, excursions, site entry fees… (Please note cocktails are excepted from the beverages)
• Flights not included.
• This year, we are offering an optional activity not included in the price. It is paragliding, which is an incredible experience. Cost is €120, but the experience is something which will stay with you forever !  Watch it Here.
