AFTERNOON VISIT TO AN UNKNOWN 2500 YEAR-OLD TOWN

AND SUMPTOUS MEAL ON THE WAY HOME.

The ancient mystical fort of Sclafani Bagni….

You can be one of the extremely few people to visit to this 2500 arab town. The town has a mere 350 inhabitants who still live a life not too dissimilar to the one of years ago. Hardly anyone comes to this lost gem, and walking its semi-deserted streets feels like stepping back in time.

This afternoon excursion includes :-

A visit to a Thermal Sulphur Spring (water 30 degs). We can have a dip in the spring followed by a visit to the ancient dilapidated baths. After this we can have a walk-about the village together with an aperitif in the only little bar in the village. On the way home we stop for a sumptous meal in a local family run restaurant.
