Last weekend Alia again held its annual farmers fair with people attending from the surrounding towns and villages. Its only a small fair but sweet and interesting in its own way. There were some nice animals to see, but I was disappointed to discover that there was no horse parade, or indeed, horses on display this year. Sign of the hard economic times, perhaps?
What was of special note to Pippa’s Paddock was that Pippa-s school was entrusted to organise a free meal for all in the town centre. Pippa’s course is the Hoteliering one but many of her classmates weren’t too keen and a handful of the braver rose to the challenge. I went along to see both the fair and what Pips was up to. It seemed to me like she was in charge of it all, for she was giving orders and controlling it all !!
Just like she tries to do at home !!!
